The reveal included an image of the Honor Magic6 smartphone, accompanied by in-depth commentary on the design elements, particularly focusing on the green paint job and the camera island.

In an official weibo post, Zhao underlined the profound influence of Chinese civilization’s 5000 year history on Honor Magic6 smartphone’s design. Drawing parallels with 19th-century stone cutting and the dynamic aspects of nature, he articulated how these diverse sources of inspiration converged to shape the unique squircle design of Magic6 series.

The teaser (promotional poster) reveals that the Magic6 series retains Honor’s distinctive star-wheel three-camera layout.

According to a leak from a tipster on Weibo, it shows that the Honor Magic6 Pro will offer users three storage options: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

The Honor Magic6 series to come with its triple rear camera system, featuring a periscope telephoto lens with 100x digital zoom and a variable aperture main camera, along with the MagicOS 8.0 interface.

Honor CEO George Zhaon in his post, he greets everyone for the New Year and expresses joy at the positive response from netizens regarding the #荣耀Magic6# series. He introduces the design inspiration, drawing from historical civilization and nature, emphasizing innovation in both form and function. The Glory Magic6 adheres to simplicity principles, featuring a unique camera arrangement and a classic “pillow shape” exterior inspired by the Sanxingdui “Jade Cong.”

The design combines technology innovation with historical aesthetics, creating a highly recognizable phone. The CMF design breaks through conventional thinking, displaying Earth’s wonders on the back cover to reflect the vitality of nature. George Zhao introduces a new color, Haihu Green, inspired by Qinghai Lake’s winter wonders, inviting users to appreciate the upcoming Glory Magic6 series with its breakthrough aesthetics.
