3) Age Limit for Indian Army SSC Technical 2019
For SSC(Tech) Men & Women
Minimum Age : 20 years
Maximum Age : 27 years
For Widows of Defence Personnel Only
Maximum Age : 35 years
Note: Age Relaxation applicable as per the Govt Rules.
4) Qualification for Indian Army SSC Technical 2019
For SSC(Tech) Men & Women
Candidates should possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Related Trade from recognized Board/University or equivalent, from an education board recognized by central and state Government.
For Widows of Defence Personnel Only
SSC(W) Non Tech (Non UPSC): Candidates should possess Any Bachelor Degree from recognized Board/University or equivalent, from an education board recognized by central and state Government.
SSC(W) Tech: Candidates should possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Related Trade from recognized Board/University or equivalent, from an education board recognized by central and state Government.
5) Selection Process of Indian Army SSC Technical 2019
a) All the eligible candidates applying for Indian Army SSC Technical 2019 will be selected based upon the fixed percentage of marks in the Engineering stream.
b) Only short listed eligible Candidates depending upon the cutoff percentage will be called for interview at one of the selection centers i,e Allahabad(UP), Bhopal(MP), Bangalore(Karnataka), Kapurthala(Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer.
c) Two stage selection process for the candidates at the SSB, those who clear Stage I will go to stage II. Duration of the SSB interview is five days and those who fail in stage I will be returned on the same day.
d) Candidates selected by SSB and declared medically fit, will be issued joining letter for the training in the order of merit list. Depending upon the no of vacancies.
a) Training of Indian Army SSC Technical 2019
All the selected candidates will be given training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai according to their position in the final order of merit in the Engineering Stream upto the number of Vacancies available. Duration of training is 49 weeks.
b) Medical Standards for Indian Army SSC Technical 2019
Medical examination will be conducted by authorized Medical Officers/ Doctors has per medical standards prescribed.
For Men:
i) Height : Minimum 157.5 cms. Relaxations applicable as per the Govt Rules.
ii) Chest: Should be well proportioned, Minimum expansion of 5 cms.
ii) Weight: Proportioned to age and height + – 10 % acceptable.
For Women:
i) Height : Minimum 152 cms. Relaxations applicable as per the Govt Rules.
ii) Chest: NA
ii) Weight: Proportioned to age and height + – 10 % acceptable.
c) Physical Standards for Indian Army SSC Technical 2019
i) 2.4 Kms run to be completed in 15 Minutes.
ii) Sit Ups – 25 Nos
iii) Push Ups -13 Nos
iv) Chin ups – 6 Nos
V) Rope Climbing – 3-4 meters.
