Moto G14 Launched for Rs. 9,999: Check Specs, Features & Review

Motorola has launched its latest budget-friendly G-series smartphone, Moto G14, in India. The Moto G14 offers impressive features for its price range, including a 50MP primary camera, a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate, Dolby Atmos-supported stereo speakers, and a 5000mAh battery.

As the successor to the Moto G13, the Moto G14 comes with notable upgrades over its predecessor, such as a higher resolution display, a faster chipset, and it runs on Android 13 out of the box. Motorola has also promised an Android 14 update and three (3) years of security updates.

The phone features a flat frame design with a punch-hole cutout for the 8MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The back panel is made of acrylic glass (PMMA) and houses a dual camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro camera.

In terms of specifications, the Moto G14 is powered by a Unisoc T616 chipset paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It also has an IP52 rating for splash resistance and Panda glass protection.

The 5000mAh battery supports 20W charging, and Motorola claims it can deliver up to 94 hours of music playback and up to 34 hours of talk time on a single charge. It runs on Android 13 with Motorola’s My UX interface on top.

The Moto G14 comes in two colors: Steel Gray and Sky Blue. It is available for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs. 9,999 (single 4GB + 128GB variant) starting today and will go on sale from August 8 via the Motorola official website, Flipkart, and retail stores.

As part of the pre-order offers, buyers can avail an instant discount 10% up to Rs. 750 on ICICI Credit cards and screen damage protection worth Rs. 3,200.

Moto G14 Review

In the Indian market, the Moto G14 competes with other budget-friendly smartphones, such as the Redmi 12 series, which also launched today. While the Redmi 12 series offers 5G support and higher refresh rate displays, the Moto G14 has an advantage in terms of camera performance and software updates.
