The Falling Skies quest in Escape from Tarkov sends you to one of Shoreline’s lesser-visited spots: a moss-covered one-story house known as the Moldy House. This is where you’ll recover two key items—the Transcript and the Flash Drive—before handing them over to Prapor.
What Is the Moldy House?
The Moldy House is a small green, one-floor building tucked near the Shoreline village. It sits among a cluster of run-down homes and is easy to recognize thanks to its distinct faded green exterior. The building contains both required quest items for this stage of Falling Skies.

You’ll find this building on the western side of Shoreline, a short walk from the main village.
How to reach it:
- Travel toward the village area of Shoreline.
- Look for the moss-green, one-story house standing out from the other structures.
- It is positioned close to several ruined homes, making it easier to identify by contrast.
Players can approach from Scav Island or from the coastline, but any route toward the village will bring them close to the target building.
How to Find Both Quest Items Inside the Moldy House
Once you reach the house, the interior path is simple but easy to misread during a raid, especially with enemy pressure nearby. Below is the exact room layout and where each item sits.
1. Flash Drive Location
The Flash Drive is towards the back of the house.
Steps:
- Enter through the main entrance.
- Move forward into the first room.
- Turn left, then continue straight into the large rear room.
- Check the far corner—
The Flash Drive sits on a cabinet/table in the corner of the room.
Interact with it to secure the item.
2. Transcript Location
The Transcript is in the very same room, just on the opposite side.
Where to look:
- Turn around after grabbing the Flash Drive.
- A fallen mattress lies on the floor.
- The Transcript is located behind or beside the mattress, near the bed frame.
Pick it up just like any standard document item.
Surviving and Completing the Quest
Once both items are in your inventory, the last requirement is simply surviving the raid. Extract cleanly and hand the items to Prapor to complete this stage of Falling Skies.
