Diablo 4 Boss Loot Tables (Season 13): Complete Cheat Sheet for All Lair Bosses

Target farming specific Uniques in Diablo 4 is only efficient when you know exactly which boss to kill. With Season 13: Season of Reckoning running alongside the Lord of Hatred expansion, itemization received a major overhaul: every Lair Boss now has its own dedicated loot pool instead of sharing drops across the board.

Diablo 4 boss loot table

That change makes this cheat sheet more important than ever. Whether you are hunting a specific Barbarian weapon, building out your Warlock for endgame push, or targeting class-specific gear for Spiritborn, the tables below tell you exactly where to go and what to bring.

All Lair Bosses require Torment 1 or higher difficulty to drop loot from their hoards.

How Lair Boss Loot Works

Each Lair Boss in Diablo 4 falls into one of three tiers:

Initiate Bosses require a standard Lair Key to open their treasure hoard. These are the lesser bosses that you farm repeatedly to generate Greater Lair Keys for the harder encounters. The five Initiate Bosses are Echo of Varshan, Grigoire, The Beast in the Ice, Lord Zir, and Urivar.

Greater Bosses require a Greater Lair Key, which you earn by opening Initiate Boss hoards. Duriel, Andariel, Harbinger of Hatred, and The Butcher all fall into this tier and carry more powerful, harder-to-get drops.

Special Activity Bosses each use their own unique currency tied to a specific endgame activity: Astaroth uses Escalation Sigils from Escalating Nightmares, Bartuc uses an Infernal Hordes Compass from Infernal Hordes, and Belial uses two Betrayer’s Husks earned by defeating him in Ambush Encounters.

Every Lair Boss also has a chance to drop items from the General Unique Pool and, at much lower odds, items from the Mythic Unique Pool. Understanding Diablo 4 stats on those drops goes a long way toward knowing which rolls to keep.

General Unique Pool

Every Lair Boss can drop any of the following items regardless of class. These are not guaranteed, but they remain a consistent secondary loot source across all encounters:

Items

  • Azurewrath
  • Banished Lord’s Talisman
  • Blood-Mad Idol
  • Crown of Lucion
  • Endurant Faith
  • Fists of Fate
  • Flickerstep
  • Frostburn
  • Godslayer Crown
  • Locran’s Talisman
  • Mother’s Embrace
  • Paingorger’s Gauntlets
  • Penitent Greaves
  • Rakanoth’s Wake
  • Razorplate
  • Rustbitten Dirk
  • Shard of Verathiel
  • Signet of Pelghain
  • Soulbrand
  • Tassets of the Dawning Sky
  • Temerity
  • The Butcher’s Cleaver
  • Thousand-Eye Reaver
  • Tibault’s Will
  • Wendigo Brand
  • Wyrdskin
  • X’Fal’s Corroded Signet
  • Yen’s Blessing

Mythic Unique Pool

All Lair Bosses have a chance to drop Mythic Uniques, though the rates are extremely low. Belial has a higher Mythic Unique drop chance than any other boss. These items represent the highest power ceiling in the game, so prioritizing your farming routes around bosses you can clear fastest still makes sense even at these low odds.

  • Location: Palace of the Deceiver, Caldeum (Kehjistan)
  • How to Unlock: Defeat Belial in an Ambush Encounter
  • Key Required: 2x Betrayer’s Husks

Belial has no dedicated loot pool of his own. Instead, after you beat him and open the chest, you choose which Lair Boss loot table you want to pull from. That flexibility makes him a highly efficient farming target when you need to double up on specific boss tables without grinding through more Initiate fights. He also carries the best odds for Mythic Unique drops in the game, so he is worth running regularly once you have Betrayer’s Husks available. Play Now!

FAQs

Which Diablo 4 Lair Boss drops the most Uniques for Barbarian?

Andariel and The Butcher carry the largest Barbarian-specific loot pools, with three dedicated drops each. Farm Andariel for weapons and Butcher for armor and rings.

How do you get Greater Lair Keys in Diablo 4?

Open the treasure hoards of Initiate Bosses such as Varshan, Grigoire, Beast in the Ice, Lord Zir, and Urivar. Each hoard opening can drop Greater Lair Keys, which you then spend on Duriel, Andariel, Harbinger of Hatred, and The Butcher.

Does Belial have his own loot table in Diablo 4?

No. After defeating Belial, you select which Lair Boss loot table you want to pull from. He has no dedicated drops of his own but offers the best Mythic Unique drop odds in the game.

Can you get Mythic Uniques from every Lair Boss in Diablo 4?

Yes, every Lair Boss has a chance to drop Mythic Uniques. Belial has the highest probability, making him the most efficient target if Mythic farming is your primary goal.

What difficulty do Lair Bosses require in Diablo 4?

All Lair Bosses require Torment 1 or higher. Unlocking Torment difficulty is the first step before any boss loot farming becomes possible.
