Home Plots in Heartopia
Every player begins Heartopia with a small residential area that includes their house and nearby terrain. These surrounding areas are called Home Plots. Each plot adds more usable land where you can place buildings, decorations, furniture, or landscaping elements.
However, home plots are not unlocked automatically. Your ability to own more land is tied directly to your progress in one specific system: the D.G. Member’s Guild .
The Core Requirement: D.G. Member’s Guild Rank
Unlocking additional home plots depends entirely on your D.G. Member’s Guild rank. As you rank up, you unlock perks, including the ability to own more plots around your home.
You cannot bypass this system with Gold or items early on. Progression through the guild is mandatory.
How to Rank Up in the D.G. Member’s Guild
Complete Daily Resident Requests
The primary way to increase your guild rank is by completing Daily Resident Requests. These are tasks given by NPC residents throughout the town. Requests often involve everyday gameplay activities, such as:

Purchasing Newly Unlocked Home Plots
Unlocking plot capacity does not automatically give you the land. Once your plot limit increases, you still need to purchase each plot manually.

- Navigate to the Plot tab
- Select an available plot adjacent to your current property
- Pay the required amount of Gold
Only plots connected to your existing land can be purchased, so expansion happens outward rather than randomly.
What Happens After Purchase
Once a plot is purchased:
- Construction begins immediately
- The plot becomes usable right away
- You can place structures, decorations, or terrain items without delay
