Niantic has unveiled the details for the September 2025 GO Pass, and this month’s lineup is headlined by a brand-new item that could change how players approach hatching. The pass launches on September 2, carrying fresh rewards, milestone bonuses, and a new Legendary encounter to tie into the current Tales of Transformation season.
A New Way to Hatch: The Timed Incubator
The biggest highlight of September pass is the Timed Incubator, a special version of the classic Incubator that offers unlimited uses. Unlike the standard and Super Incubators, however, this one comes with a time restriction—it can only be used until October 14, 2025, no matter when it’s unlocked.
- Available at Rank 20 of the GO Pass Deluxe track.
- Works like a normal Incubator but doesn’t wear out after hatching eggs.
- If an egg isn’t hatched before the expiration date, it automatically transfers into a standard single-use Incubator to finish the process.
For players who regularly stockpile eggs, this temporary unlimited-use item could be a major advantage, especially during Stardust- or Candy-boosting events.

As with previous months, trainers can choose between the free GO Pass track and the paid Deluxe option ($7.99). Here’s a breakdown of what’s included:
