Designated Officer / Food Safety Officer	(1) Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto, or (2) Atleast one of qualification prescribed for Direct Recruitment to the post of Food Safety Officer given as below: A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognised University, or any other equivalent/recognised qualification notified by the Central Government, Provided that no person who has any financial Interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any article of food shall be appointed to be a Food Safety Officer.
Statistical officer	Post Graduate Degree in mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Statistics or Agricultural Statistics from an university recognized by Law in India or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
Information Officer / District Information Officer / Script Writer / Feature Writers / Incharge, English	(A) Essential qualification: (i) A Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the subject from a University established by law in India or a degree recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto. (ii) Diploma in Journalism or 5 Years Journalistic experience. (B) Preferential qualification: (1) Experience of writing articles, scripts and features in the news papers and magazines. (2) Bachelor Degree in Journalism from a University established by law in India or any Institution recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto. Diploma in Music / Lighting / Acting / Direction etc. from any institute recognized by the Government.
Principals, Government Intermediate Colleges (For Boys or Girls)	(i) A Post-graduate degree from a University established by law in India or a degree recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto. (ii) L.T. Diploma of the Department of Education, Uttar Pradesh, or B.T. or B.Ed. or an equivalent Degree of a University. 6. Online Application Details For UPPSC recruitment notification 2018

First Stage:

On clicking the apply online link below, Candidate Registration Page will be displayed. By clicking “Candidate Registration”, Basic Registration Form will be displayed to the candidate.

After filling the Basic Registration form, If any correction or modification is required, click on “Click here to modify” option and ensure the required corrections or modifications.

After being fully satisfied with all the information’s given on application , click on ‘Submit Application’. Consequently, the registration of first stage will be over.

Thereafter “Print Registration Slip” will be displayed and print the registration slip.

Second Stage:

After the completion of the procedure of first stage, ‘Fee to be deposited and fee details are given below for each post under UPPSC 2018.

Page will be displayed with caption “Click here to proceed for payment”. After clicking, “Click here to proceed for payment”, home page of State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System) will be displayed comprising of 3 modes of payment with below payment gateways:

A) NET BANKING

B) DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

C) OTHER PAYMENT MODES(OFFLINE PAYMENTS)

After paying the Examination Fee by one of the above prescribed modes, “Payment Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR)” will be displayed along with details of fee deposition, print the payment receipt.

Third stage:

On completion of second stage, click on “Proceed for final submission of application form”, in order to submit the final application to generate your hall ticket.

The candidates are required to submit their duly scanned photo and signature(Only latest pass port size photo is accepted).

After filling in all entries in the application form, the candidates can click “PREVIEW” to see entered details and if they are correct, click “Submit” button for final submission.

After clicking the ‘Submit’ button, the candidate can take a print of the application.

7. Application Fee For UPPSC recruitment notification 2018

Unreserved Category and Other Backward Classes: Rs.125/-

Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe: Rs.65/-

Handicapped: Rs 25/-

8. Examination Pattern For UPPSC recruitment notification 2018

The Examination of UPPSC recruitment 2018 is conducted in 3 stages to recruit candidates.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

Stage 2: Mains Examination

Stage 3: Viva Voce (Interview)

Preliminary Examination

UPPSC recruits candidates by first conducting the preliminary examination.

Preliminary examination consist of two papers, Paper I and Paper II consisting of 200 marks each.

Time duration for the exam will be 2 hours. Both the questions papers will be of Objective type and Multiple choice questions.

Note 1: The Preliminary Examination will be a common paper for all posts – Combined State and Upper Subordinate Services,Assistant Conservator Of Forest and Range Forest Officer.

Note 2: Paper II will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks of 33%. Candidates should attempt both papers(mandatory).

Mains Examination

Candidates who qualifies for the Preliminary Examinations will be allowed to write the Mains Examination.
