12) Cabinet approved continuation of Rastriya Yuva Sashaktikaran Karyakram Scheme for the Period 2017-18 to 2019-2020

13) Cabinet approved the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2018 for revision in list of Scheduled Tribes of Arunachal Pradesh

14) Cabinet approved Continuation of Umbrella scheme for “Family Welfare and Other Health Interventions” during 2017-18 to 2019-20

15) National Bamboo Mission (NBM) has been launched in April, 2018 with an outlay of Rs 1290 crore for two year i.e. till the end of 14thFinance Commission

16) Contract was signed for delivery of S-400 system from Russia. The deliveries will commence from Oct 2020 and will be completed by April 2023. The system will provide a very capable air defence coverage to Vulnerable Areas/ Vulnerable Points (VAs/VPs).

26) 124thAmendment: The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced by the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Thaawar Chand Gehlot. This Bill seeks to provide for the advancement of “economically weaker sections” of citizens. 10% Reservation quota for economically Weaker sections

27) MoU was signed between the Indian Army and PNB on the Defence Salary Package

28) Lok Sabha passed “The DNA Technology (Use and Application) Regulation Bill – 2019”. This Bill is to expand the application of DNA-based forensic technologies to support and strengthen the justice delivery system of the country

29) Government constituted a Commission under article 340, on 2ndOctober, 2017, to examine the issues of the sub-categorization of Other Backward Classes under Chairman of Justice (Retd.) G. Rohini. This commission tenure is  extended upto 31/05/2019 

30) Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Nitin Gadkari released the inaugural issue of the monthly magazine of the Ministry – Jal Charcha
