All Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Car Locations: Where to Find Every Hidden Car

Forza Horizon 6 hides nine Treasure Cars across its massive Japan map, and each one is yours to keep for free the moment you find it. No auction house fees, no credits required, just drive up and collect. The challenge is that the game only gives you a single photo clue per car, and those clues range from helpfully specific to almost entirely useless.

Each of the nine regions in Forza Horizon 6 holds exactly one Treasure Car. You unlock the photo clue for a region simply by driving through it, which means you can stumble into these naturally during normal exploration. Once you receive a clue, you’re already in the right area. You can collect them in any order, and each car goes straight into your garage with no waiting period or repair cost.

This guide covers every Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Car location with precise directions so you can skip the guesswork entirely.

Tip: Switch to drone mode (press down then up on the D-pad) when you are close to a location. The drone scans terrain much faster than driving blind, and it marks any discovered car directly on your map.

1. Dodge Charger R/T Location (Minamino)

The 1969 Dodge Charger R/T hides behind a convenience store in the Minamino region. The golf course in the middle of the region is your landmark. Head to the eastern side of the course and find the store sitting at its edge.

Drive around the right side of the store as if you are heading onto the golf course, but do not enter the course itself. Instead, take a tight turn and drive between the store and the fence line. The Charger sits at the end of that narrow path, right next to the Airfield Trail dirt race marker.

This muscle car shares its visual DNA with the 1970 Dodge Charger that Dominic Toretto drove in the original Fast and Furious film, with some parts sourced from this exact 1969 model. A well-tuned livery in the garage editor gets the look remarkably close.

2. Lancia Stratos HF Stradale Location (Sotoyama)

The 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale sits in the Sotoyama region, which covers the snowy mountains in the far north of the Japan map. Head to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, the main east-west road that cuts across the mountains. Look for a lone café building on the side of this road.

Lancia Stratos HF Stradale Location (Sotoyama)
Lancia Stratos HF Stradale Location (Sotoyama)

The Lancia parks right next to this building. If you spot a ski-lift with an Omurice mascot sitting nearby, you are in the correct spot. The car can be tricky to see from the main road because it sits just behind the building. Drive around the structure if you pass it without spotting the car.

3. BMW M1 Location (Hokubu)

The 1981 BMW M1 sits in the northern part of the Hokubu region. A railway bridge runs across the entire region, supported by dozens of pillars. The BMW parks right next to one of those pillars near the northern end of the bridge, in a field surrounded by crops.

Use the Shikisai-No-Oka flower fields as your landmark. The car sits northeast of those colourful fields and just southeast of the Hokubu street race marker. Leave the main road and cut through the field to spot it parked next to the scaffolding beneath the overpass.

4. Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE Location (Ohtani)

The 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE sits on the western border of the Ohtani region, very close to where it meets Shimanoyama. A cluster of radio towers in an open field marks the exact spot. Look for one tower surrounded by a fence with the Mazda parked right next to it.

The fence surrounding the tower blocks direct access. Head to the gate that sits horizontally level with the car and find the corner section of fence that juts outward. Ram that section to break through and then drive up to collect the RX-7. Approaching from any other angle makes the car easy to miss.

The RX-7 GSL-SE prioritises style over raw performance, but its balanced stat spread makes it a likeable everyday driver. It previously appeared in Forza Horizon 4 and multiple Motorsport entries. Its rear-wheel drive layout rewards players who enjoy precision handling.

5. Nissan Safari Turbo Location (Ito)

The 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo sits in the northern part of the Ito region on the main dirt road running through the hills. Drive the northern mountain dirt road and slow down every time you see a wind turbine. The Nissan parks right at the base of one of them.

More specifically, the Safari sits around the summit area of the northernmost mountain dirt road. The Turbine Trail drift zone marks the area on your map, and the Azure Drive danger sign sits just northwest. If you are on the correct dirt road, you will pass this car regardless of your direction.

Do not let the low speed and acceleration numbers fool you because this truck is built to handle terrain that would stop every other car on the list. It previously appeared as part of the Doritos Car Pack in an earlier Forza Horizon title.

6. Porsche 959 Location (Shimanoyama)

The 1987 Porsche 959 sits in Narai-Juku, a small town in the northern section of the Shimanoyama region. The photo clue shows the car next to a convenience store, which sounds straightforward until you realise the Japan map places these stores everywhere.

The specific store you want sits on the southeastern side of Narai-Juku near the Narai-Juku Circuit road race. Head to the eastern side of the town and find the car park there. Drive through the entrance into the car park and continue toward the store along the northern fence line. The Porsche 959 waits at the end of the store.

The Porsche 959 ties with the Ford GT as the most valuable Treasure Car from a pure performance standpoint. Its Acceleration rating of 8.2 is the highest on the entire list, and the Speed of 7.3 keeps it competitive at the top end. The real-world racing variant of the 959, called the 961, finished first in its class at its debut in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Forza version lives up to that reputation.

7. Nissan Figaro Location (Tokyo City)

The 1991 Nissan Figaro sits in a small car park in Tokyo City. Head to the road running alongside the bay on the southern edge of the city. Keep to the building side of the road, not the water side.

Find the spot two turns up from the southernmost bridge. Shortly after making that turn on the bay-road side, look for a car park entrance on your left. The Figaro waits inside. The Rainbow Bridge appears in the background of the photo clue, but the bridge is visible from far too many locations to use as a sole reference. Instead, place yourself roughly northeast of the Rainbow Bridge and northwest of the Daikoku Parking Area map marker.

Nissan only produced the Figaro for a single year in the real world, yet built over 20,000 units in that time. Its retro styling makes it one of the more distinctive free cars in the game, even if its performance stats sit on the lower end of the list.

8. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR Location (Takashiro)

The 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR hides in the Takashiro region on the western side of the map. It sits at the base of a waterfall on a scenic dirt road, making it easily the most picturesque Treasure Car location in the game.

To reach it, follow the river running along the western edge of the Takashiro region. Stay on the western bank and watch for a road marked by a torii gate on your left, just before a bridge crossing. Take that turn. The dirt road leads directly to Nachi Falls. Follow it to the end and you find a small car park where the Mitsubishi waits. The Temple Run-Up speed zone sits just south of this location and works as a useful landmark.

The 1995 Lancer Evolution III GSR shares its body structure with the Evo IV, the car Brian O’Connor drove in 2 Fast 2 Furious, so some creative livery work can get you close to that iconic look.

9. Ford GT Location (Nangan)

The 2005 Ford GT sits at the easternmost point of the Nangan region on a coastal trail that does not appear on the standard road map. This one hides off the beaten path more than any other Treasure Car.

Take the road running along the north-eastern coast of Nangan and drive until you reach a dirt track breaking off to the left. Follow it into the woodland and it leads to a car park. From the car park, take the path next to the wooden sign. At the crossroads, take the right turn and follow it to the end. The Ford GT sits there overlooking the coast. A Tempura mascot near the car park entrance confirms you are in the right area.
